I had my hysterectomy & oophorectomy 2 years ago, just after wasting over 3 years in a SA & PA relationship. I thought he was the one for months 3-6, but i lost the last years of a possible chance at being a parent. Now I’m single, & won’t ever be a mum. It would have been a challenge as I was told that my womb was an inhospitable environment when I was 19. so I always assumed it was never going to happen, but didn’t mean that I never wanted it to.

I was told that I would have difficulty conceiving to then be told we would never be able to conceive for medical reasons on my part and husband's part. For 13 years we tried, never used contraceptives and hearts broken time and time again through countless at-home pregnancy tests. I finally got on my knees and prayed asking God to take this worry, this care, this concern from me because His word says that which concerns us, concerns Him. I cried from the deepest part of my innermost soul asking Him to do as He wills. I heard Him say, "Will you give me this concern? This request that consumes your every waking moment....will you give this to me, leave it in my hands and walk away and be at peace giving me your cares and your worries? Will you still serve me if you never have children but trust Me knowing that I do all things for you and your good because I love you?" I said, "Yes. I trust you. I love you and will serve you all my days whether I bear children or not". I meant it and I got up with peace in my heart and left that worry there, in His hands, that night never taking it back and never picking it up again. Two months later....after much opposition and a bit of bickering with hubby (who didn't want to see me crying from and go through the disappointment and heartbreak with me of repeatedly being letdown from negative pregnancy tests)...I stopped at CVS for an EPT test. Straight home and to the bathroom to pee and I literally forgot it was on the counter as I went to feed the dogs and was distracted with the flurry of after work chores and routine. Because of past readings, I wasn't sitting around waiting for the results but 5min later, I went back to pick it up ready to toss it and quickly glanced. Double take and I looked again.... two lines. TWO LINES!!! Funnier things happened right after to thinking I "over peed" making the ink bleed 😂 to running around in actual circles because I didn't know what to do 😂 to how I told hubby and his reaction. But basically, I just wanted to share my infertility story and miracle of conception after 13yrs of marriage. Btw... she's 15 (16 in October,) now and her little sister is 13 (14 in July )🤗 and if people say miracles don't exist.... I wake up to 2 every day and am reminded that God DOES answer prayers they DO exist.❤👯‍♀️❤
